A stunning summer church wedding held in the heart of the South Hams, Devon. Lots of interesting guests arriving at both the church ceremony and the garden party reception afterwards. Kate and Jonathan make a perfect couple and look a real picture on the day. Makes my job very easy! The bright sunlight on a summers day can introduce some challenges for your photographer as the intense light can threaten to "blow" certain areas of an image if not exposed properly. And can also introduce unflattering skin tones. A few adjustments with the camera, composition and perhaps also seeking some shade normally resolve very easily. Pays to use a professional you know! I think it can be overlooked sometimes, the level of skill required to ensure great pictures in a wedding environment. Another successful day of photography here though capturing all the key traditional moments, exchanging vows, exchanging rings, first kiss... all supported with some candid shots of the parents and close relatives hanging on every word and enjoying very special moments. Following cocktails the guests soon began to relax and enjoy the party wishing the new Mr & Mrs Chatwin the very best of health, wealth and happiness as they begin their future together.
